After acknowledgement of an occurred heartbeat event the emergency telegram with the error code 0 is not sent
Which products are affected?
EPM-T110 1A 11 (CAN Gateway module firmware 1.1)
EPM-T83x 1A 11 (Compact module firmware 1.1)
What happens?
The I/O system will not send an emergency telegram with the error code '0' after the occurred heartbeat event has been acknowledged.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs after a heartbeat event has occurred and has been acknowledged by the user. The user's acknowledgement takes place by another time base in the index I1016 subindex 1…5 (Heartbeat Consumer Time).
Possible diagnostics?
The behaviour can be analysed by means of a software for analysing CAN telegrams on the system bus.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
The user is not able to modify the described behaviour, since emergency telegrams are automatically generated by the I/O system.
Evaluation:
The I/O system acknowledges the heartbeat event correctly, only the status is not sent on the CAN bus in another telegram.
