Behaviour of the new version?
The new firmware only evaluates the first two user data bytes of the CAN NMT telegram.
Which products are affected?
EPM-T110 (CAN Gateway V1.3)
EPM-T111 (CAN Gateway ECO V1.3)
What happens?
The module sporadically changes to the PRE-OP state.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if CAN NMT telegrams with more than 2 bytes user data length are received. According to CAN specification, the user data length of CAN NMT telegrams does not exceed 2 bytes.
Possible diagnostics?
The behaviour described before may cause an unintended status change of the module from OP to PRE-OP.
