Positioning operating mode: Interruption of absolute positioning with QSP / RSP / DCB (eliminated from V5.0 onwards)

Eliminated from:
HighLine with firmware version V05.01 or higher

Behaviour of the new version?
Even after a QSP / RSP / DCB or a direct restart of the interrupted absolute positioning, the motor traverses to the setpoint position accurately to the increment.

Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine with FW < 05.01

What happens?
The position target is not reached accurately to the increment.

When does the problem occur?
If absolute positioning is interrupted with QSP / RSP / DCB and directly restarted by deactivating the signals, the position target is not reached accurately to the increment.

Possible diagnostics?
Comparison of the calculated target position (C01210/6) and the setpoint position (C01210/2) after the positioning process.

Short-term measures / recommendations?
If QSP / RSP / DCB is involved, have the drive ramped down to a standstill before you restart the positioning process.

Evaluation
Only relevant for applications with high requirements for positioning accuracy.
