What happens?
Due to a fault the emergency telegram is sent (power on) once after boot up of the modules.
By means of the emergency telegram the I/O system IP20 communicates internal device errors to other system bus participants with high priority. The telegram has available a data volume of 8 bytes.
When does the problem occur?
It occurs after boot up of the I/O system.
Possible diagnostics?
The emergency telegram can be detected on the CAN bus by means of CAN bus diagnostic software tools, e. g. PCAN Explorer.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
The described device behaviour cannot be influenced by the user.
Evaluation:
The reaction of the other bus participants to the emergency telegram after boot up is supposed to be adapted correspondingly.
