FP interface does not send data after Trip Reset (remedied from B-SW V8.0)
Remedied from:
ECS axis module V8.0
Behaviour of new version?
It is possible to send and receive data via the FP interface regardless whether a Trip Reset has been executed.
Which products are affected?
ECS axis module V7.4 and lower
EMF2103IB (FP interface)
What happens?
It is no longer possible to send data via the FP interface when a Trip Reset has been executed. However, it is still possible to receive data.
When does the problem occur?
The response described before occurs if a Trip Reset has been activated e. g. by setting the DCTRL_bTripReset_b system variable to TRUE.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
If the function restriction has occurred, initialise the serial interface of the FP interface by calling up the L_Rs232Open function once.
Evaluation:
The ECS axis module cannot send data via the FP interface after a Trip Reset. The receipt of data via the FP interface is not affected by this function restriction.
