i950 Ethernet/IP (part 1): i950 Integration for Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley PLC with Add-On Instruction (AOI)

Content:

  1. Open EASY Starter
    1. Insert online device i950
    2. Parameter list tab - select application via parameter 0x4000
    3. Settings tab
      1. Dialog Power supply - enter power supply settings
      2. Dialog Motor - enter motor data
      3. Dialog Communication\Fieldbus\EtherNet/IP - enter communication settings
      4. Click on <Restart with current values>
  2. Open Rockwell Logix Designer
    1. EDS Hardware Installation Tool
      • Install Lenze EDS file of the i950
    2. Object Ethernet in folder "I/O Configuration" - add i950 as a new module
    3. Folder "Add-On Instructions" (AOI)
      • Import the file *.L5X
    4. Open MainRoutine and drag AOI into the rung for i950 control
      1. Assign inputs and outputs to the i950
      2. Create new tags
