Function-extension:
To increase protection when using Lenze libraries, these were protected by means of signing via a certificate from Lenze.
In the library manager of the PLC Designer, the signing of the library is indicated by a green icon (see buttons <Icon legend>).

Application:
- When creating PLC projects for Lenze devices (controllers, i950) with current firmware, nothing else needs to be considered when using the signed libraries.
- When opening PLC projects that were created with previous versions of the PLC Designer, nothing else needs to be considered either, as in this case the older library versions that are not signed are used.
- When updating the Lenze device (controller, i950) in the PLC project to the latest firmware version, the compiler version that matches the firmware version must be set. A compiler version lower than V3.5.16.40 leads to translation errors when compiling.
