i700 logbook: Entries without a valid time stamp, in case the controller time isn't set accurately
Question:
Logbook from the Servo Inverter i700:
What could be the reason if no valid time stamps are assigned to the entries in the i700 logbook?
Answer:
The time stamps of the entries in the i700 logbook are based on the time from the higher-level controller.
The i700 servo inverter does not have a mains failure-proof memory for the time, therefore the time is transferred from the controller to the i700 during the initialisation phase. If the time in the controller is set inaccurately, the time stamps in the logbook will also have a corresponding time offset from the actual time.
If the time in the controller is not set at all, the time in the controller may be before the "time calculation" of the i700. The i700 then evaluates this time as "invalid" and the time stamps in the logbook are entered as "unknown".
