Calculation of actual speed filter and start values of speed controller

Question:
How to calculate better start values for the speed controller and the actual speed filtering for larger motors on the i-series servo inverters (i700, i750, i950) ?

Answer:
Feedback from the field has revealed that the speed control parameters of larger motors (P > 7.5 kW) tend to be preset too dynamically when the motor is selected from the catalogue in EASY Starter or PLC Designer.

The Excel tool in the appendix can be used to calculate a recommendation for actual speed filtering and optimised start values for the speed controller.
These calculated values must then be manually transferred to the parameters 0x2904:0, 0x2900:1 and 0x2900:2 after selecting the motor.

Update January 2023:
The optimised calculation of the start values has been adopted in the current engineering tools EASY Starter from V01.23 and PLC Designer from V3.26.
