How do I have to proceed to read in an SSI encoder sending preceding status bits via the EPM-S604? The EPM-S604 parameter setting only allows you to hide subsequent status bits.

Status bits which are sent at the beginning of the telegram cannot be hidden by the parameter setting of the SSI module. They must be hidden in the application using a bit shift FB. The L_EsEncoderConv FB in the 9400 expects the LSB of the current position at bit position 0.
