Behaviour of the new version?
It is no problem to work continuously in online mode with the Engineer. Some kind of life bit has been implemented between Engineer and Profinet module. This life bit ensures that there is always a continuous communication on the Ethernet connection.
Which products are affected?
E94AYCER communication module firmware version 1.30
What happens?
The Profinet module cancels the communication with the Engineer if there is no continuous communication with the Engineer.
When does the problem occur?
The behaviour occurs if the user works online with many axes at the same time in the Engineer.
Possible diagnostics?
If the communication is interrupted on some axes after a certain time (x) when going online with many axes.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Use the Engineer Profinet configurator to repeat the search.
Evaluation:
This behaviour only influences the use of the Engineer. The cyclic Profinet process data communication between PLC and 94xx Profinet module works without problems.
