Description CamDesigner is a graphical software tool which makes it easy to design motion profiles for servo controllers with 'electronic cam profiler' functionality:
Easy design of cam profiles using graphical objects such as lines and polynomials
Data can be entered directly as physical unit
Automatic generation of connecting curves based on the Laws of Motion (VDI 2143) using an expert system (jolt-free movements to protect mechanical components, only CamDesigner Professional)
Display of speed, acceleration torque and jolt
Creation of value pairs (optionally position, speed or acceleration) for direct cam profile acceptance

Software installation The download includes the setup files for the following software tools:
Full version of CamDesigner Basic version V3.1
Full version of CamDesigner Professional version V3.1 - requires the entry of a license number which can be obtained from your local Lenze sales partner.
CamDesigner Professional update to version V3.1 - requires the previous installation of a licenced CamDesigner Professional version V2.3 on your PC.
The installation of CamDesigner Professional V3.1 at the same time enables the Cam Designer in the L-force Engineer. The order of installation is optional.
How to install the setup for CamDesigner V3.1:
Unpack the CamDesigner_V31.zip file on your PC. The CamDesigner_V31 directory including the installation files will be created on your PC.
Exit CamDesigner if already started.
Start the setup.exe program from the extracted CamDesigner_V31 directory and follow the installation instructions.
