Changing the Profinet IP address via Lenze code

Question:
What do you have to observe when assigning the IP address via a Lenze code?

Answer:
The IP address can be displayed or changed under code C13000 / C14000.

When the Profinet system is running and an IP address has been assigned by the master, the IP address can be subsequently changed per code, but it will not be activated by the module. Even if the device command C00002 = 11 ('Save parameter set') was used to save the modified IP address in the memory module of the Servo Drive 9400, the Profinet master will again transfer the IP address to the module and activate it when the Profinet master is restarted. This makes sense because otherwise it would be possible to cut an ongoing Profinet communication by changing the IP address. Even if the Profinet cable is removed, it is not possible to activate a changed IP address per code.

An IP address modified per code will only become active if no Profinet is connected when the Servo Drive 9400 is switched on and there will therefore be no IP address assignment via the Profinet master.

If an IP address has been assigned by the Profinet master, the address will be saved on the module.
