Question:
How can you set the background light time (code text: backLightOffTimeOut) at the L-force keypad X400 in connection with the 8400 StateLine and HighLine?
Answer:
At the L-force keypad X400, the switch-on time of the background light can be parameterised under code C65280. The code can only be accessed directly in the menue 'Keypad' at the keypad. In the Engineer, the code is not visible.
Whenever the setting is changed, it is immediately saved in the keypad (storage via C0002 is not required) and thus also applies when used on another controller.
The meaning of the code value is scaled in minutes, e. g.
- C65280 = 0 (min. value) -> light is permanently off
- C65280 = 5 (default value) -> light remains on for 5 minutes after pressing the last keypad key.
- C65280 = 255 (max. value) -> light remains permanently on.
Note:
In the Servo Drives 9400, you can only choose between the selection 0 (Always OFF), 5 min, 15 min, 30 min and 255 (Always ON) under the same code (selection list). If a value other than the values contained in the selection list is set in the Inverter Drives 8400, the value cannot be displayed in the Servo Drives 9400, but the desired function is always given.
