Functional description
An additional system block is now available for manual jog. Unlike system block LS_ManualJog, the new SB LS_ManualJogOpenLoop does not require a feedback system on the motor or load, since it runs the controller in V/f mode (frequency-controlled operation). Up to four traversing profiles can be defined with the following parameters:
• Acceleration time
• Deceleration time
• Maximum activation time
• Current setpoint as a percentage (reference C0022)
• Start angle (electrical angle at which power is first fed to the motor phases)
Manual jog based on this system block can be controlled via process inputs or, alternatively, by means of codes. New codes are available in the range C2770 to C2781 for parameter setting.
Applications
Commissioning the motor without full wiring of the feedback systems for an initial functional test (e.g. linear motors)
