Function extension:
An immediate profile change while positioning is running can now be performed with the 'Direct Change' profile function.
By setting the corresponding bits under C3096/x.Bit5 = 1, the Direct Change function can be individually activated or armed for each positioning profile. When a new profile number is entered (Ctrl1.PNoSet_x = 01..15), the new positioning profile is started immediately without closing the running positioning in advance.
By entering the new profile number, the profile parameters of the new profile are immediately activated and the positioning is executed correspondingly. Any necessary changes to the speed due to different profile parameters are made with the new parameters without stopping in the meantime.
The Direct Change function can only be used with linear ramps. Activated Direct Change functions are automatically positioned with linear ramps, irrespective of the setting under C3600/x.
Tip:
If the same profile is started again with modified parameters, two setting steps are required:
- Reset the current profile number with Ctrl1.PNoSet_x = 0. Resetting the current profile number still does not affect the running positioning; the current profile is processed further.
- Specify the number of the running profile once again with Ctrl1.PNoSet_x > 0.
