What happens?
After switch-on the keypad cannot exit the boot mode. The HMI project is not started. The device cannot be used.
When does the problem occur?
The response described above occurs when the exchange area used is larger than permitted. This means that e.g. the command area and status area are not allowed to consist of more than 4 words each.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Check the size of every exchange area used before the HMI project is downloaded to the keypad.
Evaluation:
After switch-on the keypad does not start the HMI project. The function restriction is detected during commissioning at the latest.
