Use of the MCTRL utilization (device utilization)

Question:
The current device utilization, e. g. in case of the 9300ES servo inverter, is made available for further processing purposes in the signal flow via the MCTRL-Utilization function block. The 9300EK cam profiler is not equipped with the MCTRL-Utilization function block output. Is it nevertheless possible to use the device utilization in the function block interconnection?

Answer:
Yes. Although it is not possible to establish a connection via the function block editor, the selection 15028 (utilization) can be set via the configuration codes of the function blocks for output signals. As a result, the value of the device utilization is selected as input variable for the corresponding function block.

Example:
The MCTRL-Utilization device utilization is to be connected with the ASW1-IN1 function block input. Set the configuration code for ASW1-IN1 (C0810/001) to 15028.
