Question:
In case of 9400 servo controllers the motor and the load inertia can be set via codes C00273/00x. Is the gearbox ratio between motor and load (codes C02520/000, C02521/000) already considered in code C0273/002 (load inertia)?
Answer:
The gearbox ratio of C02520/000 and C02521/000 is not calculated in C00273/002. This means that the load inertia converted to the motor side is to be entered in C0273/002. Referred to the motor side, the operating system of the 9400 servo controller calculates the resulting inertia of masses by means of directly adding C00273/001 and C00273/002.
Note:
This value can be converted to the motor side according to the following formula, provided that the actual load inertia is known:
C0273/002 = JLoad * (C2521/000 / C2520/000)^2
with JLoad = actual inertia of masses of the laod side
