Question:
How can the parameter set of the IP20 I/O system be saved in a mode protecting against mains failure?

Answer:
The parameter set of a IP20 I/O system can be saved in a mode protecting against mains failure by using the GDC in order to enter the value 1 (save) under index  I2003h of the I/O system.
It is not required to save the parameter set in a mode protecting against mains failure if a PLC sets the parameters whenever the I/O system is switched on.
