DDS: How to indent several program lines written in structured text by pressing the tabulator key
Question:
How can several program lines be indented at the same time by one or several tabulator positions when a program is generated in structured text (ST) in the Drive Developer Studio (DDS)?
Answer:
It is often required to indent several lines in a program written in structured text at the same time and in a uniform way, e. g. when further IF instruction are inserted , CASES are indented, etc.
Regarding this, please proceed as follows:
1. Mark all structured text lines to be indented (see picture at the bottom left).
2. The degree of indention of the marked lines depends on how often the tabulator key is pressed (see picture at the bottom right).
