Electrical shaft via CAN (EShaft), gear ratio C3097/C3098 is always to be entered

Question:
What can be the reason for the non-functionality of the electrical shaft via CAN (shaft) in case of the ECS Posi & Shaft, although all settings seem to be done?

Answer:
Maybe in the slave drives of the electrical shaft the gear ratios in codes C3097 und C3098 (numerator and denominator) have not been set correctly.

Even when the gear ratio between master and slave axes is 1:1, the gear ratios are to be entered correspondingly, since, according to the default setting, C3097 and C3098 are 0. This leads to a standstill of the slave axes.

Note:
The operating instruction of the ECS Posi&Shaft contains the setting in C3097 und C3098 in chapter 'Travel with electrical shaft via CAN (X4)'.
If further problems occur, please proceed as described in this operating instruction to execute the commissioning step by step.
