Description:
The software package cam offers solutions for cam applications with absolute (linear) and relative (feed) axes. It contains e. g. the cam template (core functionality cam and additional functions), as well as two libraries (
LenzeCamControl1V0200.lib and
LenzeCamControl2V0200.lib) with function blocks for using single functionalities from cam technology and peripheral functions (e. g. easy positioning, cam controller). The update contains function extensions for the
cam template and the
cam libraries.
System requirements:
• Microsoft® Windows® 98/Me, Windows NT® 4.0 (as of Service Pack 5), Windows 2000 (as of Service Pack 2) or Windows XP
• IBM compatible PC with ≥ Intel®Pentium®-90 processor
• 32 MB RAM
• 20 MB free hard disk capacity
• VGA graphic card
• Pointer (mouse, trackball etc.)
• Free parallel interface or free USB port for the communication with the drive controller via the PC system bus adapter
• Installation of DDS Professional ≥ V2.2
• Installation of software package cam in version V1.x
• Provided that you use the ECS servo system as a target system: Installation of the current Device Data Update (≥ GU2, see Download -> Software -> Device Data Update)
Software installation
Proceed as follows to install the update of the software package cam from V1.x to V2.0:
1. Unpack the ZIP-file
SWP-CAM_V20_Update.ZIP on your PC. During unpacking the directory
SWP-CAM_V20_Update will be installed in your PC. The installation files are in the subdirectory
update.
2. Start the program
setup.exe in the subdirectory
SWP-CAM_V15_Update/update and follow the instructions of the installation program.
