Parameter setting of cycle overlapping cam signals

Question:
How can a cam signal overlapping the cycle limit be generated (e. g. switch on at 350 °, switch off  in the following pulse at 10 °) by means of the SPC1 or SPC2 function block, as shown in the example in diagram 2?

Answer:
The desired functionality can be generated by means of the following steps:
  • Configure an inverse cam signal (e. g. switch on position at 10 °, switch off position at 350 °)
  • Invert the so-called can signal logically (e. g. by means of a function block NOT)

Example for a parameter setting / function block interconnection:

Cam signal SPC1-STATUS01 has to switch on a cam signal in the positioning range of 170 ° to 190 °.  A second cam signal has to switch on at 350 ° and switch off at 10 ° in the following cycle (inversion of  SPC1-STATUS02 via NOT2 function block).
