Question:
What has to be considered when the additive motor voltage (MCTRL1-VOLT-ADD) is used in conjunction with the parameter set changeover?
Answer:
If in a frequency inverter a parameter set changeover is applied, where in a parameter set the motor voltage is determined by means of the signal MCTRL1-VOLT-ADD, it has to be ensured that the signal MCTRL1-VOLT-ADD is set to FIXED-INPUT=0 (Cx412/8 = 5) in those parameter sets, where the additive motor voltage (MCTRL1-VOLT-ADD) is not active. Otherwise an incorrect behaviour of the drive can be a consequence when you switch from a parameter set with applied additive motor voltage to a parameter set without applied additive motor voltage. This incorrect behaviour is usually an overcurrent leading to a frequency reduction and a functionless drive.
