What happens?
If the Service Pack 1 for DDS V2.3 is installed an error message announcing that the update program cannot detect a DDS version 2.3 on the PC is indicated. As a result, the installation of the Service Packs is stopped. However, a DDS version 2.3 is installed on the PC.
When does the problem occur?
In order to install a Service Pack for DDS V2.3 the DDS version 2.3.6.0 must at least be installed. For a short period of time the DDS version 2.3.4.0 could be downloaded on the Lenze Internet page. For this DDS version 2.3.4.0 the Service Pack cannot be installed. If it is tried to do so the error message described before is indicated.
Possible diagnostics?
Check in the DDS information dialog (menu item: Help>About) which version is installed.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Install the update to DDS version 2.3.6.0 or higher.
Evaluation:
The Service Pack 1 for DDS V2.3 cannot be installed since the required DDS version is not installed on the PC. However, due to the error message indicated it is not clear why an installation is not possible. The installation is aborted without installing files on the PC.
