Question:
Why does the drive not rotate when the process controller is applied and setpoint selection is made via the signal PCTRL1-SET1 or PCTRL1-SET2?
Answer:
When the process controller is used and the setpoint selection is made via the signal PCTRL1-SET1 or PCTRL1-SET2, the automatic DC brake (Auto-DCB) has to be inactive, as the DC brake (Auto-DCB) receives no speed setpoint via the signal PCTRL1-SET3, so that the drive is not able to rotate. By inactivating the Auto-DCB via code C0019 = 0 or C0106 = 0 the drive starts to operate.
