Angular synchronism, accuracy depends on many factors that may be involved

SuchbegriffeQuestion:
Which accuracy can be reached with regard to the angular synchronism in case of a master frequency coupling in combination with the 9300 servo inverter?

Answer:
An angular synchronism of several axes can for instance be achieved via a master frequency coupling (DFOUT, DFIN). The corresponding basic configurations can be selected under C0005 of the 9300 inverter.

A specific accuracy, which is universally valid for the angular synchronism in the master frequency network combined with a specific drive controller, cannot be indicated. Ultimately, the accuracy of the complete system is asked for. Apart from the drive controller features this accuracy depends on many other factors that may be involved, for instance:
  • Accuracy of the encoder system (further information is provided in article Doc-ID 20010540: Feedback system, precision of encoder systems)
  • Gearbox backlash
  • Load adjustment factors (mass inertia ratio: load <-> motor)
  • Controller settings
  • Design and stability of the machine mechanics

Due to these numerous factors which may be involved there are no statements made in the Manual with regard to the accuracy in angular synchronism mode.
