Question:
How can the EEPROM in the 8200 vector/motec/starttec be protected due to the limited write cycle, when codes are cyclically written via fieldbus network?
Answer:
The 8200 vector / motec / starttec default setting of code C0003 = 1 is 'Parameter always saved in EEPROM'.
When in an operating application codes are to be written cyclically via fieldbus, C0003 = 0 ('Parameter not saved in EEPROM') is to be set, as otherwise the EEPROM can fail due to the limited number of write cycles.
This modification of code C0003 cannot be stored, so that after mains connection of the inverter it has to be adjusted to selection 0 again.
