IP address assignment when the module is switched on

Question:
Which IO address does the Ethernet/CAN Gateway have in default setting?

Answer:
When in code C1210 an IP address has not been assigned already (default setting of the code 0.0.0.0), the module searches a free IP address in the range 169.254.xxx.xxx according to the standardized APIPA procedure.
