What has to be considered when sequence and page change is made by means of the command area?
Answer:
By means of the Command area (project component Exchange areas) it is possible to control functions like page change, acknowledgement of alarms, switch on/off of LEDs etc. by means of a connected PLC, e. g. a Drive PLC.
The command for changing the sequence or the page is ignored by the operating unit, when the user is activating a function key or a touchkey leading to the execution of a Direct command (project component Direct commands), e. g. Momentarily set bit.
Therefore check in the Status area (project component Exchange areas), if the operating unit has called the correct sequence or page. If required, repeat the command for sequence or page change.
In the operating units H315 and H410 the key status of the operating unit can also be read. A sequence or page change should be delayed as long as no function key of the operating unit is activated anymore.
