What happens?
Downloading a parameter set takes several minutes. The progress bar only moves very slowly.
When does the problem occur?
If the communication between the Global Drive Loader and the target system is interrupted while a parameter set file (gdc file) is being downloaded, the progress bar still moves although the download cannot be continued.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
How long it takes to transmit a parameter set depends on various factors, e.g. the baud rate set, the size of the parameter set, etc. If the download of the parameter set takes too much time, you should cancel the download using the button <Cancel> and repeat it.
Evaluation
The Global Drive Loader does not immediately detect a communication abort if a parameter set is being transmitted. The Global Drive Loader displays all parameters (codes) at the end of the download which could not be transmitted because of the communication abort. This function restriction does not concern the download of binary files and application files.
