Electrical isolation of the bus I/O from the fieldbus function module

Bus I/O for the 8200 motec

Function description
The supply terminals of the bus I/O have been electrically isolated from the supply of the 8200 motec and fieldbus function module (see diagram below). Thus it is possible to supply the bus I/O and the fieldbus function module with isolated voltage supplies in order to reduce the noise interference of the fieldbuses. When supplying both modules via an external voltage supply the changed terminal assignment must be observed.

Applications
Compared to the external noise sensitive 24 V supply voltage, the interference level of the fieldbus function module is increased.
