Inverse text presentation of Lenze touchscreens

Question:
How can a label field of Lenze touchscreens depending on a variable be presented inverse?

Answer:
The inverse presentation of a text field on the display dependent on the machine status is often used as a simple feedback to the machine operator.

In the HMI Designer the presentation (e . g. inverse presentation) of label fields (text fields) cannot be modified with dependence on a variable. In order to realize this function nevertheless, a touch button is to be set instead of the corresponding label field. The image of a touch button can be modified by means of a variable, the so-called Threshold_variable. The touch button is defined as follows:

1. Mark the project component Touch buttons and click <New>.
2. In tab Function enter a command, e. g. Function=Internal command, function parameter 1=PROJECT-quit project. In this case the command is ineffective, as the touch button is supposed to present only a text, just like a label field.
3. In tab Label enter the label text and determine the size of the touch button in a way that the whole text is displayed.
4. In tab Threshold select the Threshold type. If the image of the label is supposed to be modified according to a bit value, as Type select Bit-Single Threshold. If the image is supposed to be modified according to a variable value, select Single Threshold.
5. In field #1 enter either the corresponding Bit or the variable value, where the image is supposed to be modified.
6. Set the required image of the label for both cases.
7. Inactivate the touch button for both cases, so that the command entered in 2. is not executed.
8. In tab Threshold_variable select the variable, which is the basis for the image's modification.
The touch button can only be positioned at the side.
