What are the different types of the Standard-I/O module's terminal design?
Answer:
There are three different types of the Standard-I/O module's terminal design:
E82ZAFSC : Screw-type terminal attached to the module
E82ZAFSC010 : Screw-type terminal (PT) with spring terminal bar
E82ZAFSC100 : Screw-type terminal (PT) with screw-type terminal bar
Important:
The plugs of the spring terminal designs (PT) are not compatible to each other, as the clips at the plug for module E82ZAFSC010 are upwards, and for module E82ZAFSC100 they are downwards (see sketch below). If you exchange the plugs, the connections will be assigned incorrect.
