EPM-T310 test of the signal function PT100 (01h) for correct function

Question:
How can the signal function PT100 - temperature measurement (01h) of the analog input module be tested for the correct function in case of the analog input module in case of not plausible values?

Answer:
If the analog input module EPM-T310 supplies not plausible values when the signal function PT100 (01h) is used and a PT100 temperature sensor is connected, the correct function of the module can be tested by means of a resistor.
When the resistor is connected in mode 01 the following values must be displayed:

120 Ohm --> ca. 520 --> this means 52.0 ° Celsius
100 Ohm --> ca. 0 --> this means 0 ° Celsius

As a 120 Ohm resistor a bus terminating resistor for the CAN systembus can be used.
