Question:
Is it possible to use relative directories also for cam data (LC9 file) in the Drive Developer Studio (DDS)?
Answer:
Yes. To select relative directories for the selection of the LC9 file proceed in two steps:
1. Click on Project > Options and select Directories. Click on the input field for Projects => Libraries and enter the following characters '.\' (point and backslash). By this means relative directories are enabled also for the selection of the LC9 file (cam data files).
2. To select the cam data file by the use of relative directories doubleclick on Resources and Cam Support. Click on Add Cam Data to Project. A browser window for the selection of the cam data file (LC9 file) opens and the relevant LC9 file can be selected. If the selected LC9 file is in the same directory of the DDS project file (PRO file) or in a sub-directory to the project file directory the link to the LC9 file is stored as a relative directory. The relative directory path on the LC9 file is shown in the Cam Support afterwards (directory path without a drive designation character, i. e. C:\ …).
