Summation of 3 setpoints

Question:
How can a third setpoint be processed in 8200vector/motec?

Answer:
In the 8200vector/motec a third setpoint can be processed when the PID controller is applied:
  • The summation of setpoints 1 and 2 is made via the first summation point in PCTRL1 block.
  • The addition of setpoint 3 is made via the third summation point by pre-control output and PID controller output.
  • In order to avoid a distortion of the PID controller on the PCTRL1-SET1 input signal the gain (P-proportion in C0070/000) is supposed to be set to 1, the influence C0074/000 to 100% and the I-proportion is to be switched off  (C0078/00 = 9999).
