GDC, no automatic display of commissioning assistant for 8200

Question:
How can the automatic start of the commissioning assistant for 8200 vector/motec in Global Drive Control (GDC) be switched off?

Answer:
The automatic start of the 'short-commissioning dialog / Commissioning assistant for 8200 ...' can be switched off by a corresponding selection field in the dialog 'Settings' (eliminate the tick from the selection field).
The dialog can be found in the GDC menu bar in 'Options / Desktop…'.
