Question:
Which aspects are to be observed when connecting the terminal extension of the EPM-T830 compact module to the 9300EP positioning controller via CAN bus?

Answer:
It must be observed that the default identifiers of the compact module correspond to CAN-IN3 and CAN-OUT3 of the 9300EP. Thus the terminal signals are sent to/from CAN3.
However, the connections of the digital control/status signals pre-assigned in the positioning controller refer to CAN-IN2 and CAN-OUT2.
Therefore, signals from and to the terminal extension must be configured manually.
