Pin assignment of serial RS232 cable in case of LECOM - communication

Question:
What has to be considered in case of a fully assigned serial RS232 cable for the LECOM interface?

Answer:
In case of fully assigned RS232 cable the pin assignment is generally connected 1:1 at each end.

For the serial Lecom-communication not all pins are connected 1:1. More information about the detailed pin assignment can be taken from the attached mounting instruction (see www.lenze.de -> Info centre -> Technical documentation -> Industrial communication).
Moreover, the cables, that are not required for the Lecom-communication, must be separated. If they are not separated and are connected 1:1 at each end, connection to the parameter setting software GDC and the device is not possible.
