SM100 safety module, connection of sensors and switches

Question:
Which sensors and switches can be connected to the inputs and outputs of the SM100?

Answer:
The SM100 safety module of the 9400 range has a two-channel (safe) input:
  • Active sensors (light curtain, laser scanner...) can be connected directly and
  • passive sensors (emergency stop button, door contact ...) can be connected via a switching device.

The single-channel (not safe) output shows the status 'safe torque off active'.
