Cooling temperature is displayed incorrectly - OH-TRIP cannot be reset

Affected devices:
  • Drive controller ≥ 9327 (≥ 15 kW), this means ≥ size 5

Behaviour:

The cooling temperature of the device is displayed in code C0061, provided that the power stage is supplied by the drive controller (400 V mains voltage or DC supply). Without power stage supply following values are displayed for the cooling temperature:
  • When the external 24 V supply of the control board is switched on, a cooling temperature of  0 °C is displayed in C0061.
  • If there is a 24 V supply of the control board and the mains voltage is switched off, the value of the last detected cooling temperature will be held until the mains voltage is connected again.

The monitoring of the cooling temperature inside the device makes sure that, when the cooling temperature is 85 °C, an OH-Trip is set and the output stage is inhibited, in order to avoid a damage of the device.

When a TRIP occurs and the power stage is switched off, e. g. via a mains contactor, the held value of the cooling temperature can lead to the fact that the error message OH cannot be reset (TRIP-RESET).
Remedy: The mains contactor is to be switched on again, so that the error message OH is reset.
