Why can in GDC the COM1 interface not be selected for communication with LECOM A/B?
Answer:
From time to time in case of notebooks or Siemens programming devices in GDC there is no selection possibility of the COM1 interface for the connection via LECOM A/B. In this case please check, wheter a modem is integrated in the device. Generally, it is assigned to the COM1 interface. GDC offers only free COM interfaces. The modem is to be inactivated, so that the COM1 interface can be used.
