Which products are affected?
ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer as of version 1.3)
EPM-H310 (Text display via input keys H310)
What happens?
Automatic operations activate user-defined actions (e.g. transmission of a value to a code) if a certain event occurs. An event can be that a variable (code of drive) accepts a specific value or that a timer of the keypad has expired.
The Automatic operation defines an event which occurs several times in succession. Nevertheless, the keypad only executes the Automatic operation when the event occurs for the first time. Afterwards, the Automatic operations are not executed anymore.
When does the problem occur?
If the event occurs at the same time for several Automatic operations which call up a Direct command under register card Actions, these Automatic Operations are only executed once. If the event occurs again for one of these Automatic operations, this Automatic operation is no longer executed.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
When creating projects ensure that Automatic operations which execute a Direct command are not called up the keypad at the same time.
This function restriction has been eliminated with Service Pack 2 of the HMI Designer V1.6.
Evaluation:
The H310 keypad is affected by this function restriction only. The function restriction occurs if several Automatic operations which call up a Direct command are executed at the same time. This function restriction will be detected during commissioning of the machine/plant at the latest.
