The information dialog does not correctly display which software packages exist

Which products are affected?
ESP-DDS2-P (Global Drive PLC Developer Studio version 2.x)

What happens?
In the Help>Info dialog, information about DDS is displayed, e. g. the target systems and software packages installed for the DDS version.

Although the information dialog shows that software packages have been installed for DDS, the software packages are not available for the DDS version, i. e. the software packages cannot be used to create new DDS projects. When opening DDS projects created with the software packages, an error message occurs which states that the libraries of the software packages are missing.

When does the problem occur?
There is already a DDS version on the PC for which software packages were installed. If a second DDS version is installed in parallel, these software packages will not be available for the second version. However, the information dialog of the second DDS version shows that software packages are installed.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Install the software packages again on your PC. Activate the switch Update further DDS versions in the installation program of the software packages.

Alternatively, you can update the existing DDS version by installing the DDS version 2.2. The software packages already installed are now also available for the DDS version 2.2.

Evaluation:
The information dialog of DDS shows that software packages have been installed for the DDS version, although this is not true. This function restriction can be eliminated by installing the software packages again.
