Codes in the Parameter monitor do not match the target system

Which products are affected?
ESP-DDS2-P (Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Version 2.0, 2.1)

What happens?
The codes displayed in the Parameter monitor (Resources tab) do not match the set target system, e.g. code C0086 (motor type selection) for the Drive PLC.

When does the problem occur?
If the target system is changed via the dialog Target Settings (Resources tab) with the Parameter monitor open, the Parameter monitor does not adapt the device description to the new target system. Consequently, the codes of the target system previously set are displayed.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Closing and reopening the Parameter monitor causes the device description to be loaded for the set target system.

Evaluation:
Changing the target system in an existing project tends to be performed in exceptional cases. If codes are changed via the Parameter monitor, the target system monitors compliance with value ranges independently of the device description and ignores accesses to non-existent codes. Since the function of the same code is not necessarily identical in different target systems, description of a code using the wrong device description can lead to a target system malfunction.
