What happens?
In the Parameter monitor (Resources tab) the text 'No select text' is displayed for a user code instead of the value.
When does the problem occur?
In the Instance parameter manager (Resources tab) a Selection list can be defined for a code. That is, in this Selection list a text can be assigned to each value which the variable linked to the code can accept. In the Parameter monitor the appropriate text is displayed for that code instead of the value.
If the variable linked to the code has a value which is not defined in the selection list, in the Parameter monitor the text 'No select text' is displayed instead of the value of the variable.
The software Global Drive Control and also the keypad (EMZ9371) display not only the text from the selection list but also the value of the code.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
When defining the Selection list make sure that the variable cannot accept a value which is different from the one defined in the Selection list.
If in the Parameter monitor the text 'No select text' is displayed for a user code, first check in the Instance parameter manager which variable is linked to that code and then check its value.
Evaluation:
The selection list makes it simpler for the operator to enter and monitor codes. If the code has a value for which no text has been defined in the selection list, it will not be displayed in the Parameter Monitor. The value of the variable which is linked to the code can still be monitored with DDS without any problems.
