Device description is not created in the set language

Which products are affected?
ESP-DDS2-P (Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Version 2.1)

What happens?
The device description contains, inter alia, the display texts of codes for parameterisation programs such as Global Drive Control (GDC).

If in the DDS menu Project>Options in the Category GDC-Device Description the field Basic language is set to English, a German-language device description (*.pdb) is created during compilation of the project.
If German is set in the field Basic language, during compilation of the project an English-language device description (*.pdb) is created.

When does the problem occur?
This function restriction only occurs if via the menu Project>Options in the Category Desktop the Language has been switched over to English so that the DDS interface has been switched over to English. The German-language interface is not affected.

Possible diagnostics?
The Parameter monitor of DDS shows the display texts of the codes in the same language as the one in which they are saved by DDS in the device description.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Via the menu Project>Options in the Category GDC-Device Description set the field Basic language to the other language as applicable.

This function restriction has been remedied in DDS Version 2.2.

Evaluation:
With DDS the device description can be created in various languages. Owing to this function restriction the display texts of codes in the Parameter monitor and in GDC are not displayed in the set language.
