User library cannot be found

Which products are affected?
ESP-DDS2-P (Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Version 2.0, 2.1)

What happens?
When opening a DDS project the following error message is displayed:

Cannot find <number> of <number> libraries. Change library directory?
  • If in this message the <Yes> button is pressed, DDS opens the Category Directories in the dialog Options. In the field Project – libraries the paths in which the libraries are located can be specified. The next time the project is opened the error message is displayed again nevertheless.
  • If in this message the <No> button is pressed, the project will be loaded. The project can be compiled without any errors despite the message. As opposed to the message, all the libraries are entered in the library manager (menu Window>Library Manager).

When does the problem occur?
In the library manager (menu Windows>Library Manager) the inserted libraries are displayed along with their paths. If there is a blank space in a path, e.g. D:\documents and settings\Library01.lib, that library will not be found by DDS when the DDS project is opened.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Save user libraries on your hard disk in such a way that there are no blank spaces in the paths.

Evaluation:
Although all the files necessary for the DDS project are located in the relevant directories indicated, when DDS is opened it reports that files (libraries) have not been found. After acknowledging this dialog, however, it is still possible to work on the project without any problems.
